Okay
I am at my wits ends
again
which was not a very for trip
for me
seems like I am always in the neighborhood.
I changed probes on our Avance 600 from a PATXI to PABBO so that we could do
a wider range of nuclei (e.g., Pt).
Unfortunately, the bbo probe has never been calibrated (power and pulse lengths).
So, I went about calibrating and thought that as long as I saved the new power
levels and pulse lengths in the prosol file that they would show up when I
went to iconnmr. That is what the manual says. I saved the parameters in the
prosol file and saved it for the probe (all solvents). Then, I started iconnmr
(routine spectroscopy), set up an experiment, looked at the parameters (for
pulse length and power) and they were not the same as in the prosol file. Does
anyone have any ideas of what I am missing? Does anyone have a good reference
for calibrating deuterium power and pulse lengths or changing probes.
I would appreciate any advice.
Thank you.
