Thanks for clarifying.
I think Bert and I both mean you will get both the 1H and 19F pulses out of
the amplifier high band channel. The VNMRS console has an internal
splitter/combiner which can route PTS channels 1 and 2 towards a single
amplifier high band channel. If the probe you use has a single coil/RF
connector for 1H and 19F, which is tuned for both frequencies, your
experiment should run fine. The VNMRS knows it doesn't have a second high
band channel and will route all 1H and 19F pulses through Amp 1 Channel 1
(high band), even when running 2D 1H/19F experiments.
In this case, there is a difference in PTS channels and amplifier channels.
PTS will use channel 1 and 2, the amplifier will only use channel 1 (high
band).
