Hi,
please check the tiny "F1" fuse in the bottom right corner - they have a
tendency of breaking (= open connection). Simply bridge it with a thin
piece of wire and it may work again.
Are you sure that all individual modules inside the VFS failed? Might be the
internal reference generator unit as well - if you want you can send it to
me and I can at least check it or even repair it.
