Thank you for all of your suggestions and offers. Bert was spot on with
the culprit! We added a little jumper across the F1 fuse and now
the ethernet port lights up on the card and my system is fully functional.
Having a faulty second channel creates a lot of non intuitive effects.
We could see a lock level, however could not observe a 2H signal for setting Z0
(field) nor to 2H gradient shim. Getting a proper synthesizer signal
solved all of it.
Bert do you (or anyone else here) know the current rating for the fuse (F1)?
My colleague builds custom IC boards, so he can fix it correctly if he knows the
proper fuse to buy.
