Mike: The air doesn't turn on, so I guess it's not a leak but some sort of
blockage. Misalignment of the stator is certainly possible as sometimes when
I jiggled the transport tube the air would turn on and the rotor would come
out (doesn't always work though).
Please forgive my ignorance - what is TLC? (The only TLC that I know is thin
layer chromatography which probably is not what you meant).
