Hi Weiguo,

I guess an easy way to test this would be to disconnect the eject air line
from the probe and then turn on the sample eject a few times and see if the
air is turned on consistently.

And the TLC I was referring to is Tender Loving Care--it doesn't sound like
it needs a complete overhaul but it might benefit from a once-over by the
probe repair people and adjustment to get the sample ejecting properly.

Which MAS controller do you have--is it an MAS/2 or MAS/3?

Cheers,Mike

Mike: The air doesn't turn on, so I guess it's not a leak but some sort of
blockage. Misalignment of the stator is certainly possible as sometimes when
I jiggled the transport tube the air would turn on and the rotor would come
out (doesn't always work though).
Please forgive my ignorance - what is TLC? (The only TLC that I know is thin
layer chromatography which probably is not what you meant).

Thanks,

Weiguo
