Hi Emily
It actually maybe that the probe is not seated with the upper barrel well.
This is easier with 2 people. But loosen the probe collar with the Allen
wrench, and push up on the probe. This will push the upper barrel up. Then
push the upper barrel back down. This should seat them together well. Re
tighten the probe collar.
This is the main cause I have seen over the years.
