Thanks for this advice! The upper barrel was raised and has now returned to
normal level. It was seated fine, just elevated. However, the problem of air
pressure remains. If anything, the tube and spinner sink faster now than
they did with the barrel above normal levels. This does however put the
collar of this probe higher on the probe than the collar on the other probe.
So, I am again wondering if there is something wrong with the air pressure.
I do not have access to the compressor itself but I have access to the pressure
valves for the lines. The only one that is labelled is the VT and this is set
to 24 psi. We also have unlabeled lines that are set to 70, 25, and 38 psi.
If these PSIs can be used to identify what part of the instrument the lines
go to, that would also be appreciated.
