Please find attached the pulse program "hoesygpph" that I obtained some
years ago from one of the Bruker applications specialists in Rheinstetten
(your system may already have it since it is not a new sequence). I have
used this with an Avance-III-400 and a BBFO-Z probe with no hardware
modifications. I have tried several HOESY variants - this is the one that
seems to work best. For the HOESY experiment, it helps to know the
chemical shift of the 19F signal (easy enough to determine with a 1D 19F
experiment) and to use a narrow sweep width in the 19F dimension (10-20
ppm). For the mixing time (d8), you can try a value similar to that for an
H-H NOESY for your molecule.
