Hi Nadia,

True--this could be a bad cable (this is kind of rare in my experience) or
it could be a faulty SLCB in the BSMS rack.  You should have a look at
the front of the BSMS rack and see if there are any error lights that would
indicate a problem.

One other thing to check--look around the back of the BSMS and you'll see two
columns of LEDs from the two power supply boards in the BSMS rack.
Sometimes these fuses blow--it is definitely worth checking that the lights
are lit.  If the fuse is blown the light will be out.  If you do
find any of those lights out you can pull the power supply out and replace
the offending fuse and see if that helps.

Dear Michael,

Thank you so much for this information. We were trying to locate this sensor
for some time. Unfortunately, cleaning the sensor didn't work and we're
wondering if the problem source is the yellow cable at the top or a problem
with our BSMS.

Thank you once again for your help. Have a wonderful weekend!

All the best,Nadia

It is possible that something has failed but it's also possible that there
is some gunk on the sensor.  If you look down inside the top of the shim
system you should see the hole that the sensor is in--you might just need to
take a damp swab and clean that out.  If some dirt or something is blocking
the sensor you'll get that message.  The hole should only be like an inch
down inside the top of the BST.

Hi everyone,

Good day!

We recently switched off our 600 MHz console to facilitate some electrical
work. However, on restarting the system, the response to 'ej' was Error 113
slcblid close. NOTE: There is no lid at the top of the bore.

Has anyone ever come across this error? We've checked the cables and as
far as we can tell there is no obstruction of the sensor at the top of the
bore. Could anyone can tell us the specific location of the sensor for the
lid at the top so that we can inspect it properly or recommend a method to
bypass this sensor?

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. Have a great day!

Best regards,Nadia
