Hi Wendy,
I have tried LiCl recently on a 400 with a BBFO probe and with an iProbe.
it is very easy to detect Cl-, it will be a relatively sharp peak.
Anything bigger will be difficult, I was not successful seeing any signals
for chloroorganics.
Maybe if you run a bleach solution you'll know more about the limitations
in your specific case...
