Hi Wendy,
Both Chlorine isotopes are quadrupolar which will give you broad signals.
It looks like frequency is pretty low too so your probe may not be able to
get down that low but it's higher than 15N so it could be doable. You will
want to use a broadband probe if you have one but it could be worth a try.
The relaxation times are very short so you'll want to pulse rapidly and
might need several hours. I'm concerned about the MgCl2 being 3M as it
will swamp the other signals and I don't think you'll be able to see
dissolved Cl2 unless it's really soluble.
