Hi Ken,
We use N2 for all our spectrometers (among them 2 neo consoles) and
our standard pressure is 6 bar (about 85 psi I suppose). Yes we have
installed a separate supply for our use in the nmr labs alone when we
got our 600 MHz some years ago. The standalone supply is capable to
deliver a pressure of about 8 bar. Hope this info helps you.
