Hi all,
we have been debugging our Avance III console for some time without success
and I am hoping you are able to help.
After a power failure we could not connect to the DRU of the spectrometer,
with error LEDs being lit up on the DRU and the two SGUs of the spectrometer.
We tried replacing the DRU but this did not help.
The -12V and +5V dig LED on the AQS power supply appear a bit dimmer then all
the other LEDs. Trying to remove components from the spectrometer did not
change the intensity of these LEDs. However, when we removed the PSD/3 board
from the back of the AQS the DRU and SGUs all start up and proceed to the point
where only green lights flash, and we can ping/access the DRU again.
However with the PSD/3 removed as well as when everything is connected we
cannot complete the cf command successfully.
Running the IPSO sanity check invariably gives the following error:
Checking: F-controllers numbers are consecutive …
Error:
Found fctrl4 while fctrl3 not present
===============================
Checking: F/G controller slots are without gap …
Error:
Found fctrl4 on slot 6 behind gctrl1
Of course we have not changed the order of any of the units.
