Just my $0.02--all those dark lights on that power supply in the picture are
pretty suspicious. My first guess would be that it's crapped out.
That supply has no fuses and "no user serviceable parts." It is possible
that something else has failed and is just dragging the supply down but that's
not my first guess. It's probably not impossible to get a replacement
one of these, and they're easy to swap.
Cheers,Mike

Hi Luke,
Check the power supplies at the back of the console.
If you are lucky, you have one (or more) blown fuses in the power supplies.
Start by removing the back panel from the console.
Then look for LEDs on the power supplies. If the main power switch is on,
you should see LEDs for the different voltages on the power supplies. If any
of those are not lit, then you know which ones are not working.
If none of the LEDs are lit, then it is worth pulling the power supply, and
checking each of the fuses individually.
Before removing the power supply, make sure you first completely power down
the console, and I would recommend unplugging as well.
<snip> I see that Sameer has already responded, so I will stop now.
Definitely check the power supplies before going any further.
Bob.

Hi Everyone,
Our Avance console had a heart attack this morning and I'm hoping the collective
knows a way to resuscitate it.
The first user of the day couldn't tune or collect spectra. There weren't any
hung processes, and the problem persisted through software and computer restarts.
Error messages pointed to multiple boards on the AQS rack (RCU, SGU1, others) and
the instrument has a history of communication issues. I begrudgingly power cycled
the console...
...and now there's no activity from a whole side of the AQS rack. CCU10, TCU3,
FCU3, GCU, RCU1/2 all dormant. pictures attached.
Any pointers would be much appreciated!
Kind regards,
