I just went through this exact issue. It was due to bad sectors on the hard
drive of the console (EPU). With Bruker’s help, I was able to run
fsck on the disk and get it working again. That was only temporary. A new
ard drive was necessary. Swapping the hard drive was fairly straightforward.
Only issue I ran into was that the version of spectrOS on the disk was not
the correct one. I had to do a custom install of just the spectrOS.
