Rajan,
I have only Topspin up to 4.4 on my spectrometers, so I can not speak
for 4.5, but the tuneb option was removed at some point from Topspin 3.7
forward. The file <topspin/conf/instr/topshim/parameters/tuneb file
still exists, but is empty with just a line ##$COMMENT= <DEPRECATED>in it.
So topshim tuneb should skip transverse shimming alltogether, but not
give an error message. You either need to use tunea (transverse shimming
after longitudinal) or write a macro that contains two topshim commands:
topshim tune tunea
topshim
That should executa a transverse shimming first without any topshim
(that is what the keyword "tune" does), then the regular topshim will be
run You can add any other options to the commands of course.
I have actually not double checked whether spinning is still stopped
automatically for the topshim tune in my latest Topspin versions, if
not, one needs to add commands to sttop and start spinning to the macro.
Not sure thought why Bruker got rid of the tuneb option in the first place.
