Dear Julian,

We experienced this error several times on our 500 Av III where a lot of
pulse programs a created. Bruker gave us this solution : delete the file
(or put it somewhere else) called "pulsprogs-1.xml" which is in
.../topspinxxx/prog/curdir/nmr/db/Local/pp This should solve the problem.

Then you could think about doing some cleaning in you own pulse programs :)
