Dear Uli,

Sorry to jump in here but I would STRONGLY advise against forcing the
quench exhaust has into the recycling system like you described - far too
high risk of breaking the system somewhere by the sudden, now far higher
overpressure or, worse, quench another magnet on the line. In the Magnex
magnet factory the helium recycling system was capable of catching the
exhaust of a small magnet quenching, but the tube diameter right after the
magnet was about 30 cm …
