Bruker was said to be established in 1960 (

so close, but not quite.
1964 was when the first FT-NMR experiments were being done
(
https://mediatheque.lindau-nobel.org/laureates/ernst/cv ) but no idea
if that was a coincidence or not.
Given I figured I’ll be typing in that password for quite a few more years
it’d be nice to know where it came from!

We're 100% fine with sharing the BSMS service login. The username must be
at least 3 characters but it doesn't matter what you use. I've started telling
people to just use nmrsu because it saves me having to type the above.

And with the samplecase, I believe if you change the lift parameters you have
to reset the sample changer to apply them. If it actually does anything.
