 Hi Birgit,

This "load resistance too high" is kind of a smoking gun--it does appear that
the heater in your probe has likely failed.  Here's a pinout of the connector--
I'm not sure if this is of the cable side or the probe side, but the pins for the
heater are symmetric so you should be able to get a reasonable measurement of
the resistance.  If it is indeed ~722 Ohms then that is too high and the
heater needs replacement.  If you instead measure a reasonable resistance
at the probe (I forget what it's supposed to be, but I think it's in the tens
of ohms range) then it's more likely that the TC-2T has failed and needs
replacement.

values can be expected here? We have a 7-pin plug .
