I have an AV III HD console which has been running topspin 3.7.0 for about
a year under Alma 9 Linux. I tried installing 3.8.0 on this system, but got
a string of error messages when I tried to start it, which I have not seen
before with any topspin updates--has anyone else seen these? The installer
indicated all the steps proceeded with "Successful" as the outcome. It's not
a Codemeter problem--topspin finds the license, then the problems start.
There was no change to the symptoms either with rebooting the workstation,
or with rebooting the console. I was able to launch 3.7.0 again, no problem.

I believe the relevant log file is in $TSHOME/prog/curdir/nmrsu/stdout.restartserver.log.
The file created in the 3.8.0 tree ends abruptly after about 50 lines, compared
with a normal start in 3.7.0, but I didn't get more information from reading the logs ...
