Hi Brian,
I'm not sure if grad is a useful tool on your instrument--the gradient amplifier
is likely in the BSMS so you might have to access it through the BSMS instead
of the grad tool you're using. If you open the bsms tool and there's an
entry in the main menu for the gradients then you can check the gradient
amp through there.
Regarding the DHCP error, this usually means that one of the necessary processes
on the computer that talks to the console did not start when the computer powered
back up. If this is a linux system, that stuff usually just works.
If it's a windows system, have a look in the services that are running and check
that the Bruker DHCP and tftpd servers are running, and I think there's a process
called ccu that might need to be running to communicate with the CCU in the AQS rack.
