One odd thing I found was that they zip tied two connectors together for the
battery and bridged with the two with wires. Not sure why.

controller board (unfortunately you need to remove the side plexiglass panel
as well as all cables/connectors in order to pull the board sled out) - we
had a good ten cables lose their isolation and making shorts all across.
Fixed them by carefully pulling out the connector pins out of their sockets
one by one (push down the tiny metal flap, then pull on the cable) and
re-isolate with shrink-tube.

sure whether sending pictures to AMMRL is OK or not)

Thanks, Bert, for the information and the offer. I found the CD hidden in the
bottom of one of my lab drawers. I tested my old battery, and it was good
as well. I am hoping that the problem is failure under load, which I haven’t
tested. I spoke with Agilent tech support, and they mentioned that they had this
error occur and simply going through the Cal_PP resolved it. Also, they sent
me the procedure for replacing the battery. PM me if you would like to have it.
