Hello Anne,
I have seen this and similar errors a few times in the past. On a few
occasions it was a problem with the gradient circuit in the probe, and
once it was due to a failure in the GAB board.
From your symptoms, I think you have a problem with the GAB board.
Do you know if the gradients work in any other experiments?
What happens when you try to run an experiment with uses pulsed field
gradients (PFGs) for coherence selection (most 2D experiments will be
setup to use PFGs by default)? Do you see the lock level go down and
then recover as the experiment runs?
