could a recent update on the workstation have touched the firewalls? If the
firewall rules for the spectrometer port got modified this could cause
communication issues.

1) cf hangs on iiconf:connect to CCU and there is a message that reads,
connection to spec (aqport0) failed unable to connect to remote host
2) the HPPR/2 unit has an error, error 13 power fail
3) both SGU boards have a blinking error light
4) the service tools report communication errors
5) He level meter, lock, etc. - all not working
I replaced the ethernet switch with another one that is known to be good but
no luck, same errors.
any ideas?
