Hi Ken,
We have a very similar setup to the one posted by Greg (we also use our dewar
with our He recovery system). Pic attached. The only differences
are we used 3/4" for increased gas flow (this may be overkill but the intent
was to have the ability to vent faster when needed) and we have a pressure
gauge attached to the gas inlet. I believe everything was purchased
from McMaster. The gauge on our setup is always open to the dewar
side and more sensitive than the dewar gauge. This comes in handy when
we build pressure using the heater instead of He gas.
One other item I would recommend if you're going with KF-25 fittings is to
use the "high pressure" o-rings (they have a metal ring on the outside to
stabilize the o-ring) and contain pressure better than normal centering rings
which are made for vacuum conditions. I believe we also swapped out
the o-ring for one better suited for low temperatures.
Please reach out if you'd like any more details!
Best,
