Dear Holger
6LI is very near 2H and I think you need Bruker to adjust an special probe/filter
configuration for 6Li measuring.
I remember years ago being able to add and tune/match 6Li through the lock
channel, in an old Avance I BBO probe instrument. But I was never able to
calibrate the pulse, probably due to not having the adequate filters.
I discussed the issue with Bruker’s engineers and they told me that
if we were really interested in 6Li, we would need to ask for a tailored
probe/filters configuration. We just dropped the issue.
Hope that helps
Gabriel

> Tema: [AMMRL] Adding new nucleus to prosol/peakpowers
Hello everybody,
I am trying to run a new nucleus (6Li) for the first time on a Bruker Avance
III HD, running Topspin 3.8. I notice that there is no entry for that nucleus
in either the PROSOL (edprosol) or PeakPower table (edprobe). I tried adding
an entry in the PeakPower list, but the nucleus did not show up as an
option in the pulldown menu, and there seems to be no way to add another nucleus
in the PROSOL table.
I was able to copy a CORETAB entry (17O) to 6Li in TS/conf/instr/spec/cortab,
which is recognized in cortab, but it does not seem to add that nucleus as an
option to the PROSOL table.
It does show up in ednuc as a known nucleus.
I was able to get entries for 7Li into both PeakPower and Prosol, but some
references indicate that 6Li may give sharper lines sometimes, so I was going
to give that a try also.
Thanks for any advise
Holger Foersterling
