Hi Alex, hi Greg,

usually it is not necessary to reinstall the whole topspin again. You only
have to reinstall the diskless.

Greetings

Philipp

Hi Greg,

For my AVIII HD/TS3.8 in Alma Linux 9.6 system, something like this happens \
every time I need to power down. The only thing that works for me is to reset
the IPSO with a pencil once the console is booted, then install Topspin again
in parallel with the install I’m using. During the installation it
asks to reboot the IPSO (I say yes!)—this has been a reliable fix so far.

Hi Everyone

I feel like this is just another thread having a problem with IPSO!

So after a power outage I can not talk to IPSO. This is an AVIII running
topspin 3.7 on Alma 9.

We have made sure tftp, and dhcpd are running properly. I have reinstalled
diskless. numerous power cycles of console and computer.

IPSO code is 2C or 2E depending on if I tried to reset IPSO. I can ping other
components so Ethernet and switch are good.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Greg
