The link below is for my position here at Boise State University. I a=
m retiring as of the end of May to pursue my other interests.
The department is primarily an undergraduate program with a small Masters program.
There are a few faculty members in the Material Science program who are regular NMR users.
There are opportunities for collaborations across campus but support of undergraduate
researchers and undergraduate labs is a significant part of this role. I tend
to think highly of nearly all of our students. We do work with ACS Project SEED
high school students over the summers and over the 10 years I have been here I have
trained several them to use the 600 with its Cryoprobe.
The lab has a new NEO 600 console and cryoprobe (and two room temperature probes) and
a AVANCE III 300 with a BBO probe.
Please pass this along to anyone whom you think would be qualified for this
posting.
Boise and the surrounding area provide phenomenal opportunities for anyone
interested in nearly any outdoor activity you can think of and the city of
Boise frequently appears in "Best Of ..." list.
