Hello
Our crystolographic colleagues are collecting information on authorship
in publications and would like input form the NMR community.

If you have a 'free' few minutes, consider filling out the survey(s).

Thanks

Marc

Dear colleagues,

The American Crystallography Association (ACA) Service Special Interest Group
and the Structural Science Society are currently conducting two authorship
surveys for the service-based structural scientists. We seek your input
regarding your institution's stance on attitudes and policies regarding the
inclusion of facility or service-based structural scientists as co-authors
in scientific publications when they make substantial intellectual contributions.
The data collected from these two important surveys will help establish and
promote best ethical practices at research institutions around the world.

The surveys remain open for responses through March 2024 and are accessible
from the home page of the ACA website

https://www.amercrystalassn.org/

or via the direct links below.

Please note that this survey is anonymous.

Survey on Policies

Please note that this survey is confidential, but not anonymous.

The intended audience is facility structural scientists, including service
crystallographers, beamline scientists, and CryoEM/3DEM communities currently
working in the United States, Canada and their territories, and those working
at either institutional or government facilities for x-ray and neutron
diffraction/scattering, NMR, TEM, and cryo-EM analytical techniques.

Best regards,
Josh
