Speaking of shortages, we learned today that Airgas will be rationing
helium indefinitely. We are looking for alternative suppliers, but this
also means we need to revisit the idea of a helium recapture system.
I know that other facilities have set up helium recapture systems in the
past. What has been your experiences with them? Are there systems that can
be set up relatively quickly? What sort of footprint does your system have?
I'd usually ask these questions of vendors at the ENC, but I'd like to
explore options as soon as possible.
