Hi all -
We've recently become aware of serious deuterated solvent shortages,
particularly for DMSO-d6 and CDCl3. Aldrich is backordered until March, and
other suppliers seem to be similarly backed up.
We are working with our purchaser to find alternative suppliers, but one
question our purchaser can't address is how widespread these shortages are.
I assume others have encountered issues with CDCl3 and DMSO-d6 as well, but
is this shortage extending to more obscure solvents as well? Does anyone
know the cause of it?
