Dear spinners,

Our department is thinking to get more space for research labs. We have a
700 MHz installed in S Hall basement and there is enough space to host more
machines. Our 400 MHz is installed in M Hall basement. We are thinking to
move the 400 MHz out of M Hall to the same room of our 700 MHz (the basement
of S Hall). Moving the magnet has to go through elevators in both buildings.
Two buildings are just 40 -50 meters away (from the entrance of S Hall to the
door of the lift of the S Hall on the ground).

We really appreciate your help (experience, suggestions, information, etc.):

1, Is it possible to move 400 MHz magnet with magnetic field by ourselves?
If we wrap the magnet completely, What percent is the risk quenching the
magnet during moving?

2, Have you moved magnet with magnetic field by companies other than Bruker?
If so, which company has succeeded working for you? what are the total cost
and time for the whole move?

3, Have you ever had a company to do this job (discharge, move, and re-energize)?
If so, what is the company's name and contact information? what are the total
cost and time for the whole move?

4, Any extra concerns and attentions?

Thank you so much!
