Thanks Mike, that allowed topspin to run, but now assigns the application
as a ‘workstation’ and says to run “cf” to
fix the issue, but doesn’t provide further instructions.
I’ll try again in the morning….

The fix I found that seems most likely to resolve the issue is:
Rename or remove the folder C:\Users\<current_user>\.topspin1\ and restart topspin.
This does sound like a software issue and most likely not hardware.

Linewidth was superb though.
