We had the AQS fan tray fail on our 500 MHz Avance III earlier this summer.
Some of the SGU boards in the AQS reported an overheat error. I've replaced
the fan rack, but since then, the AQS gives flashing errors across all boards
(RXAD, REF600, and 4xSGU2) and the boards are not recognized in the AQS web
portal or through 'cf' in Topspin. 'cf' hangs at an HPPR step.
We determined that the REF600 board was outputting 10.92 MHz instead of the
necessary 10 MHz. With an external signal generator connected to the REF600
to supply the 10 MHz signal, the output signal is the desired 10 MHz, the
AQS boards will load correctly, and we can run experiments.
So we replaced the REF600 board - but the same thing still happens. We also
tried different power supply boards, no change. This 10.9 MHz output is
reproducible with only the REF600 board connected on the AQS rack (all other
boards pulled out, and cables disconnected).
I think Bruker support is running out of things for me to test, so I turn to
you all.
