Hi William,
There are a couple of alternatives. If you just want a new flexlm license,
you can send an email to license.nmr_at_bruker.com and attach the old license.
Ask them for an updated license and they can get you a new one. This is not
the recommended approach--it is recommended that you update to the latest version
of topspin.
If you do want to update, you can fill out the attached form and send that to
license.nmr_at_bruker.com and they can issue you a codemeter license that is
compatible with any version of topspin 3.6 or newer.

Your Avance III console should allow you to upgrade your Topspin installation
to 3.7.
I believe that it was either 3.5 or 3.6, that replaced the FlexLM licensing
system with the Code Meter licensing system. If your original license
file is still valid, then you should be able to upgrade to the newer version
of Topspin, and that may "reset" the expiration date with the new licensing
system.

Colleagues:
This concerns an Avance III 600 install in 2012 and using Topspin
3.1pl7. I was help a user set up a VT NMR acquistion when I got the
following error message:
No license for TOPSP=
IN acquisition
Examination of the license file indeed indicate that although every
other module was dated 13-jun-2028, the acquitision was dated
29-jul-2026. This is especially frustrating as the expiration warning
issued when starting Topspin only stated the 2028 timelimit. Does
anyone know if there is a simple fix, or am I in for a long semester?
