Apparently my DD2 is different.
Possibly an early DD2/vnmrs hybrid.
We have external interface cards to the pts.

If you have a spare PTS from an Inova it will work on the DD2. Just swap the
interface card. We swap them between instrument for testing. And we have
had several occasions when one of the channels in the PTS fails.
If you don’t have the same model a 620 can be used. Just be aware
that some pTS were configured using the AUX channel to only deliver 520 or
620. So you may have use the main output and not the aux. it is rare that
they are full band on both channels. Dual channel 320s are common.
You can put the “new” PTS on the top of the console if you
don’t have room and run the connectors outside to that.

Hi Daniel,
Sounds like a problem I had with my Inova 600MHz. I have a 4 RF channel and
2 X PTS620 synthesizers. So, I swapped the synthesizers and the problem is
gone. The synthesizer output for H1 also improved dramatically. The H1
pulses shorten by 20% and the H1 tune pattern is back. Interestingly the
"defective" synthesizer works just fine at the lower frequencies. The
synthesizer probably handles the high, H1 frequency and the low / broad
band frequencies on different paths.
