Jessica,
I am sending emails from ICONNMR using my local spectrometer computer (CentOS
or AlmaLinux ) and then configure Postfix (or sendmail) on those computers to
use a relay server provided by the university to send the emails out. I am
not sure whether your university allows a similar setup.
I am that way able to have ICONNMR (or MICS) send emails including attached
zip files. One problem I am running into right now is that I can send emails
to my University Microsoft exchange account, and also my yahoo account,
but emails to .gmail account do not seem to go through, not even into the Junk
folder.
