Here is a "physical" way. For the same purpose, we have used Teflon tubes
routinely for years. One catch here is that the probe we use is a big one
(16 mm). The Teflon tube insert with a diameter ~ 13 mm is purchased, then
slugged into a 16-mm (OD, 14 mm ID) glass sleeve (~ 4" long) using Teflon
tape. (The Analytical Chemistry of Silicones, L. Smith, 380, John Wiley &
Sons (1991)).
 
Or you can have it done for you if you just have a few samples & need quick
