It's not possible to roll back the firmware update at the root of the issue.
I tried with a Bruker engineers help.

Thanks for adding a data point to the issue. I am hesitate to go back to an \
earlier version since I made a pretty big jump from 3.6.1 to 3.7.0 and I am not
sure how far back I need to go. This is a case where not having the software
bug reports accessible really hurts the users. I miss those days ...
