Hello Charlie,
I have extended 2-dimensional data in the past, though not in a situation
you are in. I did it when I performed T1-experiments and found that I
needed more points. The strategy is that you can create FID's from the ser
file and then combine those again into a ser file.
In detail:
- Copy the 2d-data to an experiment number where sufficient experiment
numbers directly following it are not used. The au program "splitser" then
creates the corresponding number of FID's.
- Do the same for the follow up experiment that contains the rest of the
data
- Copy the latter into experiments that directly follow the first ones.
- "fidtoser" then will create a new 2d data set. Its au program header
describes how to choose the parameters and how to do it.
In my situation it was guaranteed that the experimental parameters like
phases, excitation powers, etc were the same, as I performed the
experiments right after the first ones. I am not sure that these conditions
are given, after a power outage.
Best of luck and happy resonating,
Ulli
