Given the recent discussion of TopSpin on Alma 9 and other flavors of *nix,
does anyone have experience running TopSpin (or VnmrJ for that matter) on
RHEL 9?
My IT people have basically refused to even entertain the idea of using Alma
Linux in the future as they only support/allow licensed RHEL boxes for those
of us using *nix.
This policy was fine when the equivalent CentOS version was the officially
supported platform, but once RHEL 8 is at end of life, I'll be forced to
upgrade to RHEL 9 and I don't know enough about the difference between *nix
flavors to know how painful it will be to get something designed for Alma
Linux to run on RHEL.
Thanks for any thoughts,
-Scott
