Hi fellow spectroscopists,
Has anyone else encountered problems with swapping out a linux host PC
(Centos 7/TS 3.5pl6) for a new windows PC (Win 10/TS 3.6.5)?
I have Codemeter seemingly working. The main software installation seems to
complete. There is a complete failure to connect to the spectrometer upon
startup. During installation the Diskless section appears to be successful,
but a no spectrometer found error comes up on the first "cf". Lights on the
IPSO indicate that it does not boot up. I can switch back to the linux system
and regain full connection and control. The Windows PC at that point can even
telnet to the IPSO, yet the installation fails.
Feedback from one field engineer indicated this is not the first time the
situation has been reported, yet there is no fix and "rover_at_bruker.com" is
ghosting me.
