I am contacting you to seek your assistance. The NMR specialist in our department is retiring at the end of this academic year, so we are in the early stages of searching for a replacement at the assistant professor level. Since you manage the NMR facility at MSU-Denver, I am hoping you have contacts with other people around the country who are in similar positions. If you do have such contacts, would you be willing to help publicize our position? The ad for this position will be in the September 14 issue of C&EN, but the position is currently open on our jobs.uso.edu website. Our search committee will begin reviewing applications September 30th. I have attached a flier about the position, our department, and university, in case any of your contacts are interested. If they have any questions about the position, they can contact me (LMontes_at_uco.edu).
