Happy Monday to me.
A student let me know this morning that there was a problem with our prodigy
probe on our Avance III 500. It was fine on Friday and no one complained
over the weekend about anything.
The little touch screen on the cryoplatform is blank and not responding - it's
on and I can feel the fan. The Prodigy state in Topspin is reading Startup
(and flashing a green light), and the Probe Temperature is saying No Probe.
I have N2 gas and the dewar is not empty. The turbo pump is reading off.
I cannot click on Cool Down or Warm up in the Prodigy Display window. VT
state is on, but the Regulation state says "regulator inoperative."
Topspin says No Probe Connected, but it knows the current probe is the Prodigy.
I checked the PICS cable and it's fine.
Any ideas?
