Hi Varian users,
Thank you all for many helpful replies. The gist of the story is that
the Mercury architecture can only produce one high frequency at
anyone time, which, during acquisition, has to be the observe.
Several of you pointed that out, looking thru the schematics confirmed
it. We may try an external RF source.
