Hi Pat,
The MAS/3 is directly compatible with an AVIII console--it just connects to
the ethernet switch in the console and as long as you've got topspin version
3.5 or newer it will integrate seamlessly. No need to do anything special,
and you can run it through the masdisp command in topspin.
If you do have an older console or version of topspin you can operate it through
the webpages. Basically you just have to set up the ethernet connection on
the PC to use the right IP address and then you can connect to the MAS/3 directly
through an ethernet browser.
