Sounds like we have the similar issue on our AVIII 600 with TS3.6.5, although
we are able to eject manually- automation will not eject samples reliably.
We’ve tried multiple samples and spinners, cleaned the BST and sensor,
tried a new BST, swapped tubing and cables, and checked firmware. Could be
relative positioning of BST and probe ( we tried positioning the sample high
in the spinner to avoid the tube resting/touching the bottom of the probe).
Waiting to try on a different probe.
Sorry, no help. Definitely interested in other ideas.

Once after changing probes I had the same problem. It turned out that I did
not get the probe and shim stack perfectly aligned.

I have a Avance III 500 MHz NMR that, since Monday, does not recognize that
a sample in inside the magnet with both autosampler and manual mode. This
issue was intermittent for a couple of months, so I was never able to pinpoint
the exact cause.
In manual mode, even if the sample is not detected, one can run experiments,
and the issue will be that the sample will not eject. To eject, I need to
unscrew the probe just enough to be able to push it up and then the sample
ejects. Did anyone encounter a similar issue before?
