Ken - I can only speak for Bruker but here we make use of Automation —>
Automation Window and near the bottom there are entries for HTML export files.
We write those html files to a folder on a remote workstation (that folder has
a mapped drive letter on each spectrometer). Then on the remote workstation
we installed a free web server.
With this in place we are then able to create “automation update”
links (one for each spectrometer) on the landing page of the NMR facility website.
We have been operating in this manner through multiple iterations of ICONNMR as
well as Windows and it has proven to be a robust solution. Students bookmark the
update links in their web browser of choice.
